Jetour Auto PH Drops Price Of X70 Lightning i-DM To P 1.498M; Confirms Another PHEV Model Is Coming

Jetour Auto Philippines is dropping the price of its X70 Lightning i-DM 7-seater from P 1,648,000 to P 1,498,000—a discount of P 150,000.

The move is a direct response to the demands of the Philippine market, where families seek vehicles offering ample space, fuel efficiency to manage rising costs, and modern technology—all at an accessible price point. By repricing the X70 Lightning i-DM, Jetour is addressing these needs head on.

Already a compelling option for its price, it’s now even more compelling for families who seek value and practicality without sacrificing innovation and comfort.

As a plug-in hybrid (PHEV), the X70 Lightning i-DM can run on pure electric power for short city trips while retaining the confidence of a gasoline engine for long drives. This dual capability translates into lower fuel consumption, reduced emissions, and the freedom to drive longer distances without range anxiety. With its combined power sources, it can reach an impressive total range of up to 1,200 kilometers on a full charge and a full tank.

Beyond this price adjustment, Jetour is signaling more exciting developments for its Lightning i-DM series. While full details have not yet been revealed, the brand has confirmed that an upcoming model will create a new niche in the market, combining features, practicality, and affordability in a way that promises to capture attention. This next release is expected to raise the bar for what Filipino drivers can expect from a family-oriented, intelligent SUV.

“Jetour listens, reacts, and acts,” said Mr. Miguelito Jose, Managing Director of JETOUR Auto Philippines. “The new price of the JETOUR X70 Lightning i-DM directly reflects what Filipino consumers have been asking for: A vehicle that combines intelligent dual-motor technology with the space and comfort needed for everyday family life, now more accessible without compromising quality or performance.”

He added, “We are not just adjusting prices; we are reshaping expectations. The upcoming addition to our Lightning i-DM series will continue this approach—offering sustainability, practicality, and value in a way that turns heads and meets real needs.”

    1. It's definitely competition. Legacy brands must be sweating at the prospect of a price war 🤣
