Lamborghini Holds Temerario Asia-Pacific Launch In Singapore

Automobili Lamborghini has launched the new Temerario in Singapore, marking the super sports car’s debut in Asia Pacific about a year after its global debut. The model succeeds the Huracán and is the second High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) in the company’s line-up, following the Revuelto.

“At Lamborghini, every new model must carry our unmistakable DNA while pushing the boundaries of innovation,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, during the Temerario’s launch program in Singapore.

“The Temerario does exactly this: it blends an entirely new hybrid powertrain with the emotional intensity that defines every Lamborghini, opening the next chapter in our journey toward electrification,” he said.

The Temerario is powered by a newly-developed 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that revs to 10,000 rpm, paired with three electric motors to create a plug-in hybrid system. Combined, the system produces 920 hp and 800 Nm of torque.

One of the electric motors is positioned transversely between the engine and the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The two other electric motors are mounted on the front axle, creating all-wheel drive capability that guarantees high levels of traction and agile handling.

Together, the drivetrain configuration allows the Temerario to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and reach a top speed of more than 340 km/h.

The exterior design of the Temerario reveals its Lamborghini DNA, characterized by a low, wide stance with plenty of sharp line and hexagonal elements, as well as large air intakes for cooling. Aerodynamic features, like the underbody and active rear wing, reduce drag when needed and increase downforce at high speed. This results in stability even under extreme driving conditions, ensuring the Temerario delivers optimal performance and precision.

In the cockpit, the Temerario blends Lamborghini’s signature design touches with updated digital equipment. Carrying the “Feel like a pilot” philosophy, the interior has a new-generation dashboard with clear and intuitive controls designed for both driver engagement and convenience.

The fully digital display can be customized according to the different drive modes, while the central touchscreen manages infotainment, connectivity, and performance settings. A third touchscreen for the passenger accesses infotainment and navigation functions.

With the Temerario’s introduction in Singapore, Lamborghini highlights the key role Asia Pacific markets play in the company’s electrification roadmap. Having launched the Revuelto and Urus SE earlier, the Temerario now completes Lamborghini’s full lineup of hybrid models in the region where demand for high-performance electrified super sport cars remain strong.

  1. They should launch it here but coincide with budget approval of big-ticket DPWH projects. Sorry, that was bad form. Please forgive me.

    1. From what I understand, a large number of imports for cars like these are black market (slipping through customs). So, a launch here isn't even necessary.
