BYD Manila Bay Is The 600th BYD Dealership In Asia-Pacific

BYD Cars Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, together with Iconic Dealership, Inc. (IDI), marked a major milestone as BYD Manila Bay was officially inaugurated as the 600th store in the Asia Pacific (APAC). The celebration highlighted the Philippines’growing role in the region’s shift toward transformative mobility and reflected the strong partnership between BYD and its local stakeholders.

“This achievement is a proud moment for BYD and for the Philippines,” said Dennis Salvador, Head of BYD Brand at IDI. “Hosting the 600th store in Asia Pacific highlights the importance of the Philippine market in the region and strengthens our role in making sustainable mobility more accessible. It’s a symbol of BYD’s mission to grow responsibly, innovate boldly, and lead with sustainability at the core.”

Adding a local perspective, Steve Gingco, ACMobility Auto Care and Retail Head, said: “We are truly honored for BYD Manila Bay dealership store to be recognized as the 600th store milestone for the Asia-Pacific region — a proud moment not just for us, but for the Filipino community we serve. As the world moves toward connected and electrified mobility, we provide the opportunity for every Filipino family to take part in that transformation, aligned with our vision to be the leading mobility provider for all.”

BYD Manila Bay also stands as a testament to the brand’s momentum in APAC. It represents the shared success of BYD’s global network and the company’s forward-looking journey. This includes a drive toward greater market impact, strong alliances, and a deeper commitment to transforming the future of mobility.

  1. Oh it's the former Honda Cars Manila Bay. So I guess the plan already started when ACM closed this branch and let go of Honda Cars Alabang

  2. Right on cue. BYD Manila Bay used to be Honda Cars Manila Bay. Will this be a sign of things to come for Ayala-owned Honda dealerships?
