All-New 2026 Hyundai Venue Makes Global Debut

Just as the Venue made its return to the Philippine market, Hyundai has launched the all-new version of the sub-compact SUV globally with a bold new design, technology, and family of powertrains.

Launched first in India, the all-new Venue is powered by a choice between two gasoline and one diesel engines. The base variant receives a 1.2-liter Kappa 4-cylinder with 83 horsepower and 114 Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed manual. Moving up, there’s a 1.0-liter turbocharged GDi putting out 120 horsepower and 172 Nm mated to either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT. Finally, there’s a 1.5-liter diesel with 116 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque mated to either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic.

The Venue also manages to keep its traction control modes with three driver-selectable modes—sand, mud, and snow. This is on top of drive mode select and paddle shifters.

Compared to the current model, the all-new Venue is taller by 48 mm (1,665 mm) and wider by 30 mm (1,800 mm). Its wheelbase is also up 20 mm to 2,520 mm.

Its styling is reflective of a more SUV-like design, while still in touch with Hyundai’s unique design language. Exterior details include quad beam LED headlights with twin “horn” LED DRLs, a horizon LED positioning lamp, and rear horizon LED lamp. A dark chrome radiator grille, bridge-type roof rails, C-pillar garnish, and an in-glass “Venue” emblem complete the changes.

Inside, the Venue takes on a “connected-first” experience. This blends a modern design with higher quality materials for thoughtful comfort and versatility. Key features include a new Terrazzo-textured crash pad, a D-cut steering wheel, dual tone leather seats, ambient lighting, a coffee table center console with surround lighting, and split-folding rear seats with adjustable recline.

An N Line version of the Venue is also made available with N specific bumpers, body-colored wheel arch cladding, wing-type spoiler, and 17-inch alloy wheels. Inside, it also receives an N specific steering wheel, shifter, sporty metal pedals, and black leather seats.

Technology-wise, the all-new Venue gets dual 12.3-inch curved screens powered by Hyundai’s latest Connected Car Navigation Cockpit or ccNC. Using NVIDIA chipsets, it’s faster responding and is updatable with over-the-air updates.

For safety, the all-new Venue rides on an updated Global K1 platform now crafted from 71 percent hot-stamped, ultra-high strength steel, advanced high strength steel, and high strength steel. It also incorporates new safety features such as four-wheel disc brakes, 6 SRS airbags, tire pressure monitoring, and Hyundai SmartSense.
