Kia Philippines adds a new variant to its best-selling Sonet line: the Sonet K-Style Edition. Inspired by its Korean roots, specifically in its expressive and individual design, the Sonet K-Style Edition is targeted towards today’s design conscious drivers.
The Kia Sonet K-Style Edition is available in two colors: Sparkling Silver and Aurora Black. Each color features contrasting 16-inch alloy wheels, with black wheels for silver units and silver wheels for black models. A bespoke K-Style side decal accentuates the SUV’s sporty stance.
Under the hood remains the proven 1.5-liter gasoline engine mated to an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT). It also offers a tech-forward experience with a 10.25-inch touchscreen display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital instrument cluster, and an electric sunroof. Convenience features include Remote Keyless Entry and Remote Engine Start for seamless operation.
Completing the package is Kia DriveWise, the brand’s suite of advanced driver assistance technologies. Standard features include Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Following Assist, and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist.
The Sonet K-Style Edition is limited to just 150 units and is priced at P 1,158,000. It comes with Kia’s 5-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty.
“The Kia Sonet K-Style celebrates the vibrant energy of today’s new generation of drivers,” said Jay Lopez, Managing Director of Kia Philippines. “It's designed for those who want their first car to reflect their individuality, expressive, confident, and ready for new adventures, while embodying Kia’s understanding of what young drivers value most.”

Geely Coolray Sport at the same price is a much better buy.
ReplyDeleteKia Sonet LX and EX are the best variants of the China made Kia Sonet.
LX and EX dont have stability control and hill start assist. Big BS
DeleteKia Sonet LX and EX buyers and owners don't really need nor care about those electronic aids..They care more about engine power, price, space and good exterior design style of the Kia Sonet LX and EX.
DeleteHope they offer the same wheels sa other trim levels. Not a fan of decals.
ReplyDeleteThose are locally installed alloy rims.
DeleteGiven the Sonet's their best seller, I wonder if we'll get any of the higher spec'ed versions other countries have (and that matte black paint job too!).
ReplyDeleteK-Style?
ReplyDeletewhats korean in that if its made in china?
Cosmetics
ReplyDeleteBetter for AC mobility to add stability control and hill start assist to sonet EX and LX for car buyers safety than useless cosmetics.
ReplyDeleteit will become 1.3M and you wont even buy it
DeleteIt'll make the Kia Sonet more expensive if they add those electronic aids.
DeleteNot a practical idea
Dont think so, the suzuki espresso has stability control and hill start assist.
DeleteKia sonet the only one on its segment and price range that dont have stability control and start assist. SHAME on you AC mobility...the 600k wigos and suzuki espressos have it as standard.
DeleteStability control of Wigo and SPresso aren't that totally effective.
DeleteStability control of DNGA Toyota and Daihatsu vehicles aren't totally effective nor strong enough as you still need to drive the 3rd world vehicle properly.
Downgraded specs and overprice tatak AC mobility
ReplyDeleteToyota is also notorious for selling overpriced and bare vehicles.
DeleteDecade old Innova E automatic now at 1.6 Million Pesos even if its originally priced at 1.4 Million Pesos.
Toyota vehicles last a lifetime while so called techy china cars last like a cellphone

DeleteIf they really last a lifetime then we should see so many of them on the road like you see senior citizens in Japan. 👨🦽➡️👨🦽➡️👨🦽➡️
You may want to read up on how China buses have flipped the script with our bus companies and how they have proven their value and durability with how long they've been in service (and you know nmn how demanding and abused our buses are on our roads lol).
If you think China can't make quality if they want to then maybe you should listen to what experts (CEOs, engineers, etc.) are saying instead of repeating old assumptions.
Am I the only one who things kia's new front looks ugly? I saw one with DRLs on during dusk without and it looks ugly and cheap
