Toyota always late in the game but always emerged as the champion.
ReplyDeleteTelsa Model 3 and Tesla Model Y are miles better.
DeleteThis Toyota EV is champion of sales flop just like outgoing generation Nissan Leaf
Toyota is always careful and tried to avoid risky moves as much as possible.
DeleteI wasn't planning to buy an electric vehicle, but this one might convince me.
ReplyDeleteJEVs? Nah...
DeleteJEVs? Nah...
DeleteKorean made EVs are better
DeleteGoodluck!
DeleteToyota's failed electric car due to limited real world driving ranger of about 250 km
ReplyDeleteYou're talking about last gen
DeleteAWD, 200mm ground clearance the best talaga toyota. Byd now looks ugly and outdated
ReplyDeleteToyota BZ4X will be easily beaten by the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y which are the popular EVs in the Philippine market.
DeleteBYD Seal Sedan AWD is also much better
Ph version estimated range BZX4 AWD 560km
ReplyDeletePhilippine spec version is the same ones sold in Europe and SEA region (470km battery range).
DeleteMay we know the battery range?
Delete470km is the estimated battery range of the Philippine spec BZ4X
DeleteHope the model sold in the Philippines has already address the issues on wheel detachment and defect on electric compressor that is the subject of massive recall abroad. This has affected the sales of this model aside from customer complaints on poor driving range.
ReplyDeleteThat was the previous (pre-refresh) model.
DeleteIm much interested with Toyota 2026 BZ model, when are u going to launch it in the philippines?
ReplyDeleteNorth American bZ is the same as our bZ4X.
DeleteIs this typhoon proof?
ReplyDeleteIts rated water wading depth is 500 mm...so not bad.
DeleteAny comments/feedback on the graymarket importer of there Toyota EVs, EVest?
ReplyDeleteAt the current state of the PH market, Tesla is the more sensible choice if you have reasonable access to their after-sales support. Tesla makes nothing but EVs (cars) so the user experience is consistent and seamless. The bZ is currently a v.1.2 product so there is still a ways to go for Toyota to iron out the kinks.
ReplyDeleteWhen we were in Taiwan last summer, our hired vehicle driver told us he sold his Tesla Model 3 due to bugs (I presume software bugs). He said it’s frustrating to change things while driving since all needs to be done in the console. I guess he’s old school but I agree with him that there should be buttons/knobs for commonly used controls but that’s just me…
DeleteWarranty
ReplyDeleteElectric range of Toyota BZ (AWD) in North America done by EPA is 228 miles or 367 kms.. This is probably the real world range of BZ4X in the Philippines.
ReplyDeleteReal-world mileage in PH is probably even less as we spent more time at zero miles per hour. Electricity will still be needed for AC and entertainment systems to work. We can probably complete 1-2 episodes of Netflix per trip.
DeleteOne of the least efficient at less than 5kms/kwh even at city driving per UK and Ausie tests. It's platform-mate the RZ 450e only managed around 4kms/kwh as tested by Uly
ReplyDeleteWhile a mid-size EV crossover with 300+ hps from Toyota at Php2.7M looks like a steal right off the bat, better wait for the upcoming 2026 Rav 4 hybrid,
I've read and watched reviews a d they say it's a good BEV for beginners. Just that the range isn't good. If you have multiple cars, why not consider.
