Are These The Specs Of The Philippine Market 2026 Honda CR-V?

Just as the rest of the Philippines is busy welcoming 2026, Honda Cars Philippines is busy working behind the scenes to refresh its best-selling compact SUV, the CR-V. And from the looks of it, this is what we can expect for 2026.

Launched in August 2023, the sixth-generation CR-V debuted the e:HEV full hybrid system for the Philippine market. Three years on, Honda Cars Philippines is keen to build on that by offering both the front- and all-wheel drive system for the first time locally.

For 2026, Honda will offer two e:HEV variants of the CR-V—the CR-V VX e:HEV and the CR-V RS e:HEV AWD. These two variants will have an electrified 2.0-liter 4-cylinder with a combined output of 184 horsepower and 335 Nm of torque. The RS e:HEV will offer the added confidence brought on by the Real Time All-Wheel Drive system.

Those who aren’t too keen on the e:HEV will be glad to know that the 1.5-liter turbo will remain, but only for the base CR-V V Turbo variant. This one makes 190 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque. Likewise, this base model will be the only one offered with the 7-seater configuration as both the VX and RS variants will now be purely 5-seater variants.

Exterior features standard across the line-up include full LED headlights and daytime running lights, sequential front turn signals, roof rails, and 18-inch alloy wheels with 235/60R18 tires. Like before, the RS is visually differentiated thanks to its unique bumpers, piano black accents, active cornering lights, and panoramic sunroof. On the other hand, the V Turbo will get the “HuNT Package.” This gives unique copper-colored accents to the front grille and fog lamps, while adding a silver front lower garnish and running board as well as black wheel arch molding.

Inside, the 2026 CR-V will have smart keyless entry (with a Smart Key Card system for the hybrid variants), a 9-inch display audio system with Google built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, multi-zone climate control (dual for the hybrids, tri-zone for the V Turbo), wireless charger, 8-way power driver’s seat with memory, and a 60/40 split-fold reclining rear seat. Hybrids will also have heads-up display. The CR-V RS e:HEV AWD adds a 12-speaker Bose sound system, 4-way power adjustment for the front passenger, RS-specific seats with red stitching, and of course, sports pedals.

As for safety, Honda Sensing is standard as are 7 SRS airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control, a parking camera (360-degree for the hybrid variants), and tire pressure sensors. Also, Honda has done away with LaneWatch, opting instead for blind spot monitoring across the entire CR-V line-up for 2026.

Currently, the CR-V is offered starting at P 2,100,000 for the V Turbo CVT, going all the way up to P 2,605,000 for the RS e:HEV. For its 2026 update, expect the V Turbo CVT to remain as is, but expect a hefty jump for the new VX e:HEV variant from P 2,290,000 to around P 2.4-million, while the RS e:HEV will probably retail for around P 2.7-million.

  1. Seems like the VX variant is the best bang for the buck among the three variants.

    1. Actually keeping the variant count to three makes sense for Honda given the CR-V isn't a volume seller like it once was.

  5. Jezz. Still an 18 incher. The other markets have a nicer looking 19 incher. So disappointed.

    1. Why would you need a 19 inch wheel in this type of car? Can you stop pretending that its not a soccer mom car? It should have 17 inch at most. This type of car should prioritize comfort.

    2. Because for context, the asean crv and and Asian crv has 19 incher wheels. If they have it why didn’t HCPI bring it as well since it is readily available, and since it is a soccer mom car, a good looking soccer mom car is much better than a plain looking soccer mom car.

    3. Plus people should stop pretending in buying a medium sized SUV with 17 inch tires. Even a compact suv have 18 inchers.

    4. So puro porma lang kayo? In reality, no matter how much you try to upgrade this car's looks, its still a CRV... a soulless boring soccer mom car.

    5. Hindi porma porma lang, if you can get a vehicle that looks better when that option is available in all countries except us why not. Bakit ok lang sa iyo bumili ng sasakyan na pangit? 🤣🤣🤣 Kung ok lang sa iyo sa akin Hindi. Dapat practical and good looking. 😎. Bakit ikaw ba Ang mag decide para sa akin kung anong Ang preference ko?

    6. Plus if you do your research and read before commenting than you would have known that the new CRV is not a soulless boring soccer mom car. It almost drives like a civic and not like any other CUV. The mazda CX-5 and CX-50 are are also good driving vehicles.

    7. lmao at this guy, implying that the CRV is not a boring, soulless mass market vehicle🤣

    8. Do your research boy. You must be the most ignorant car boy in the world assuming you are a car boy. For the truest characters of ignorance are vanity and pride and arrogance. Everything in this world is relative depends on your perspective boy. So anyway i just need to ignore the ignorant and uneducated. 🤪🤪😎

    9. How ironic, you saying vanity and pride and arrogance are characters of ignorance. That's rich and hilarious, coming from a you na pinipilit na maging "good-looking" yung sasakyan. You just shot yourself in the foot.

  7. Since it's not made in Japan then it's out from my list. Nung binaha yung plant sa Thailand and Honda Ph were bringing in CR-V units from Japan, those were the best CR-V's available to date.

  10. Honda Japan should terminate the service of their designers, they've been messing the external aesthetics of their cars even a gold digger dares not to look a second time.

    2. upmarket in price, but in essence its still a cheap mass market vehicle. ewan ko bakit ganito kamahal dito sa atin yang CRV. sa ibang bansa wala lang yan, its just a background car

    1. Sales of CR-V and Civic in the Philippine market are still good and stable.
Honda Jazz was replaced by the Honda City hatchback while Honda Accord ain't coming back due to sales and pricing issues.

  13. I predict Honda will try to steal the new RAV4’s thunder with this one. I’m sure they’re ready to launch it now but are watching Toyota’s moves very closely. The other point I’d like to make is that Honda are not keen to correct their high prices when this CR-V generation launched, despite Toyota lowering prices when some trade policy with Japan came into effect. That did not apply to the CR-V since it’s made in Thailand and it goes to show that they were indeed charging high prices. If the rates mentioned here are made official, that’s a missed opportunity for Honda. I suppose they will just rely on occasional promotions to catch up with quarterly targets. Question is, for how long?

  14. Are there changes on the exterior?

  15. When are these YM2026 going to be released? There are hardly any stock of CR-Vs now in dealerships.
