Ford Territory Hybrid Hits 1,000-Customer Mark In Just 3 Months

The new Ford Territory Hybrid has achieved a sales milestone—breaching the 1,000-customer mark in just over three months since it launched in the Philippines.

A total of 1,099 units of the Territory Hybrid were sold from its launch in August until the end of November, marking a strong start in Ford Philippines’ electrification journey. Over 75 percent of the units sold were Territory Hybrid Titanium X, the top-of-the-line variant, with its competitive price point a key purchase consideration for majority of the customers.

“To have sold more than 1,000 Territory Hybrid units in over three months reflects the strong demand from customers looking to have a hybrid vehicle and the continued popularity of the Territory nameplate in the market,” said Pedro Simoes, managing director, Ford Philippines. “The Territory continues to be a key vehicle in Ford’s electrification strategy in the Philippines, and the solid performance of the Territory Hybrid shows that customers are ready for a vehicle that combines efficiency, refinement, and a dynamic driving experience.”

Ford Philippines was the first market in Ford’s International Markets Group (IMG) to offer the New Territory Hybrid. With growing customer interest and preference, it also announced that more units are arriving this month to boost stock availability across its dealerships nationwide and help address increasing demand.

The Territory Hybrid blends efficient performance, bolder design, advanced technology, and driver-assist features to meet the needs of today’s customers, offering a smart and seamless driving experience without requiring changes to daily driving behavior. All of these allow the Territory Hybrid to provide a convenient and hassle-free ownership for customers plus fuel cost savings from its electrified powertrain.

The Territory Hybrid features a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder Dedicated Hybrid Engine engine paired with a 2-Speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission and 1.83kW Lithium-Ion NCM High Voltage Battery. The powertrain can run on EV, Series, Parallel, or Energy Recovery modes allowing for improved fuel economy and smoother torque delivery, especially in urban situations that feature stop-and-go traffic. The electric assist enhances responsiveness during acceleration. Read more about the powertrain here.

To maximize engine performance, the Territory Hybrid is equipped with three driving modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport. Each one allows users to tailor performance to road conditions or personal preference. Both variants benefit from the hybrid system’s quiet operation, low emissions, and seamless transition between electric and gasoline power.

It also offers customizable steering feel with selectable power steering modes: Comfort, Normal, and Sport. These modes can automatically adjust based on the selected drive mode or be manually selected by the driver via the shortcut screen for a more personalized experience.

  2. So the V6 raptor and the hybrid territory is selling well despite of Ford's reliability breputation. Maybe most would rather buy a ford than roll the dice on China car.

    1. The SL6 will still beat out the FTH in sales numbers. As buyers/owners of the SL6 always like to say: "You get the best of both worlds (ICE+BEV)." More like you get the worst of both worlds.

    2. You know what's cheaper than cheap slaves? Really good robots. Seriously, a robot may be slower than a human on some tasks but running costs are centavos to the peso compared to human wages.
