Toyota Motor PH Issues Customer Satisfaction Campaign For Select Alphard, Lexus LM Units

In full transparency, Toyota Motor Philippines is once again issuing a Customer Satisfaction Campaign involving the Toyota Alphard and Lexus LM.

Compared to a Special Service Campaign is which is a potential safety-related recall, a Customer Satisfaction Campaign doesn’t affect a vehicle’s overall driving. As such, the fix can be done at the same time as a vehicle’s preventive maintenance service, or at an owner’s convenience.

This latest Customer Satisfaction Campaign covers the Power Distribution Box.

According to Toyota, the affected Toyota Alphard and Lexus LM units may have a rear window defogger connection that was not placed properly inside the power distribution box. Because of this, the connection might become weak or incomplete. When this happens, the rear window defogger could stop working, which may affect visibility, especially when moisture or fog builds up on the rear window while driving.

In total, 89 Toyota Alphard units are affected, produced from December 17, 2024 to December 24, 2024. Meanwhile, 14 Lexus LM units are affected, produced from December 19, 2024 to December 25, 2024.

Owners of the affected Lexus and Toyota units will be contacted by Toyota Motor Philippines. They will be advised to bring their vehicles to authorized Lexus and Toyota dealers, where the replacement of the Power Distribution Box will be done free of charge.

This is part of Toyota’s effort to ensure the continued safety and satisfaction of its customers.

Vehicle owners may also check on their own if their unit is part of any active service campaign. Lexus owners can visit the Lexus Philippines website, while Toyota owners can check through the Toyota service campaign portal.

    1. Yep. for Toyota naman they call it Special Service Campaign, again basically the same thing. The word recall kasi is often viewed negatively so they renamed it to something more pleasing to the ears.

  2. Recalls are not that bad. No recalls are much more suspicious.

They are also number 1 in recalls. Some are minor some are serious some are outright dangerous recalls...
