In the 1980s, there was supposed to be a one-time exploration of the Amazon jungle to promote a cigarette brand. It gave birth to a global off-roading competition that was held across the world including Siberia, Borneo, Mongolia, and more. It became iconic with its participants’ use of Land Rover Defenders.

Land Rover is bringing back those memories by launching the new Defender Trophy Edition. It’s clad in the same “Deep Sandglow Yellow” color as those in the 80s or “Keswick Green” that’s inspired by a village in the UK and features exclusive appointments.

The front face has a black contrast hood, black emblems, and black undershield. There’s a unique 20-inch 9013 style gloss black wheels, gloss black wheel archs, gloss black side carrier, front and rear classic mudflaps, and dark rear scuff plate. Trophy Edition badges and decals are also placed in key areas.

There are also a few functional amenities like the expedition roof rack, raised air intake, and deployable roof ladder.

Inside, the Deep Sandglow Yellow accent makes a prominent greeting along with a few deviations. It has Trophy Edition illuminated treadplates, Ebony Windsor leather seats, a cross car beam matched to body paint, and laser etched Trophy Edition badges.

The Land Rover Defender 110 Trophy Edition P400e PHEV is now available for P 9,490,000.

Aside from the Trophy Edition, Land Rover also unveiled the 2026 model of the Land Rover Defender. This is a pure ICE affair with a 3-liter inline 6 diesel engine that puts out 249 horsepower and 570 Nm of torque.

Several changes in the Defender are taken from customer feedback. They revised certain areas to lessen the “dust traps” as their owners called them. That involves the front lower bumper that’s now a solid panel, as well as the flush taillight housing with dark tint.

The biggest change is in the driver’s area. There’s now a Driver Attention Monitor on the steering column. Other interior changes include contrast center seats and a larger 13.1-inch touchscreen from the previous 11.4-inch.

Outside, there’s a new signature pattern on the hood and vents, new DRL pattern, new wheel design, redesigned rear bumper, and new paint finishes. The core models are now available in Woolstone Green and Borasco Grey while the OCTA is available in Sargasso Blue, Borasco Grey, and Patagonia White Matte Wrap.

The 2026 Land Rover Defender 90 S D250 (3-door) starts at P 6,230,000 while the larger Defender 110 S D250 starts at P 6,250,000.
