Toyota Motor PH Is Making Their Electrified Vehicles More Affordable This April

This April, Toyota Motor Philippines is making that shift toward electrified vehicles lighter on the wallet with their promos this month. Designed with flexibility in mind, Toyota offers three payment solutions that empower customers to stay in control of their budget while driving home their ideal vehicle—pay low, pay light, or straight cash discounts.

The Pay Low option provides an all-in package with down payments starting at just 15 percent for select models. It features a 60-month financing term, along with complimentary one-year comprehensive insurance and three-year LTO registration. Under select finance lease arrangements, chattel mortgage fees are also waived. Designed for convenience and value, Pay Low makes owning a brand-new Toyota Motor Corporation vehicle more accessible while delivering added ownership benefits.

For example, the Ativ 1.5 HEV is available with the Pay Low option starting from P 179,700, delivering exceptional fuel efficiency of up to 43.7 km/L in urban driving, 21.4 km/L under extra-urban driving, and a combined rating of 26.3 km/L, making it an ideal choice for cost-conscious city drivers.

For budget-conscious buyers, Pay Light offers lower monthly amortization spread across a 60-month term. This option makes it easier to manage finances without compromising on the choice of vehicle, making it perfect for those who prefer lighter, more predictable monthly payments.

The Corolla Cross 1.8 V HEV is available with the Pay Light plan from P 17,403 per month, while offering reliable hybrid performance with fuel efficiency of 48.5 km/L in urban conditions, 18.2 km/L in extra-urban driving, and a combined rating of 23.6 km/L. Perfect for families seeking both space and savings at the pump.

For customers prepared to pay in full, the Straight Cash option offers substantial discounts on select variants. Savings vary by model and variant, allowing buyers to maximize value and enjoy immediate cost reductions upon purchase.

The Yaris Cross 1.5 S HEV stands out as a stylish and efficient crossover, with straight cash savings of up to P 100,000. It also boasts an impressive fuel economy of 34.5 km/L in urban driving, 25.0 km/L in extra-urban conditions, and a combined rating of 27.8 km/L, making it a smart choice for drivers looking to go further with less fuel.

Alongside flexible payment options on selected Toyota models, Toyota is taking ownership to the next level with limited time offers including:
  • Free Periodic Maintenance Service (PMS) for selected Toyota models
  • Exclusive Service Discount Vouchers for selected Toyota models
  • Trade-in rebates of up to P 30,000, redeemable as a cash discount or for Toyota Genuine Accessories
  • Free One-Year Comprehensive Insurance for select models

  1. I can still remember the usual Toyota agents arrogance during the height of Toyotas dominance. You would hardly see these kinds of hefty discounts. Well, those days are gone and BYD is ready to take your throne.

    4. Yes , same experience. The customer has even to make follow up instead of the other way around. If you pay in cash, they de-priotize you. It was the time when choices and stocks are not yet as much nowadays or probably your budget is still limited yet. Moral lesson, customer don't retaliate, they remember.

    5. Byd 2025 target sales 5.5M units, actual units sold 4.6M . Toyota sold 11.2M cars 2025. Singapore is rich and very small country in terms of land area so EV’s are very suitable for them.

    6. Thinking purely in current numbers and not overall trends is amateur analysis. Imagine basketball teams; there's a building up period (heavy investment) and then the time when they can compete for the top spot. They can have a dynasty for a while (6 years now) but to imagine there can be no challengers is silly. I can only hope the hubris of some fans are not at the same levels at the top management of Toyota but we'll see.

    7. And you think Toyota sleeping on the job? They wont be no.1 worldwide straight for several years if they are not forward looking. Toyota still has room to capture market share in EV’s and PHEV’s while byd has no market share in ICE market and already losing market share BIG TIME in its home market.

    8. Toyota is a publicly listed company. How much it allocates for spending is public knowledge and experts have been saying for a while they haven't been spending enough (engineers, teams, resources, etc.) for EV tech. Maybe they will have a breakthrough with their Solid-state batteries but they have not built enough factories to scale that advantage. Factories take years to build, staff, and scale. Its current position is the result of past decisions based on past market conditions. Comments like saying that BYD would even care to gain pure ICE market share shows that you're not even coming close to properly understanding how the business works.

    9. Toyota definitely knows how business works that’s why they are always no.1 in sales worldwide. now that they have dominated hybrids they are going full speed on EV’s to get a big pie of the market.

    10. Byd try it before with so much effort but they Miserably failed in ICE. What im saying is that Toyota still has room to further improve sales by foraying into EVs and PHEVs while Byd has no market share in ICE so Byd better burn πŸ”₯ it’s dream of dethroning Toyota. The trend really is byd continue losing market share in the world biggest car market its home market. its byd that has been dethroned in china πŸ˜‚ Poor quality could be one of the reasons Chinese buyers shunning it

    11. Former Toyota CEO Koji Sato: "Unless things change we won't survive"

If Toyota is only moving now then that lead won't mean anything in the future. The turn around time for a new car from concept stage from Jap manufacturers like Toyota is around 7 years compared to around only 2 years for Chinese manufacturers.

      Your arguments are really boring.

If you actually cared about how Toyota will do in the future you wouldn't be blind to what the reality is now. Their former CEO talked about it point for point. It's not about just BYD, which you seem to think is the only threat to Toyota. The VW group (the previous no. 1) is coming out with very anticipated stuff (after years of their own investment and concepting) and Toyota is still not showing anything remotely close because they didn't put enough money into it for the previous years.

I'm talking economics. You're talking some kind of weird jumble of anti-BYD talking points. Cute. πŸ€”πŸ˜„

  2. 43.7km/l for urban driving for the Ativ HEV? This is the only place I've seen that number. Promotion posts from official Toyota dealerships social media match the same 21.4 extra urban and 26.3 combined pero yung city driving numbers nila is 31.3 km/l. Is this a rare PR fumble from Toyota mixing up their numbers sa promotion?

  3. Discount the BEVs bZ4X and Urban Cruiser

  4. Byd Singapore sold 11k units 2025, see Singapore car market very small. Toyota dominate ICE and Hybrid market and still has the potential to increase sales in EV’s and PHEV’s market while Byd already reached its peak in now being beaten black and blue by comrades in its home market. Byd can always dream but for byd to take the Toyota crown you better be Burning Your Dreams

  5. toyota is cooked. Overpriced and under spec. a rip off if you will. they dont offer value for money proposition anymore. The recently held MIAS is a foreshadowing of the things to come in the auto industry. theres no stopping the china brand cars from dominating the market. why is there no japs brand there to begin with?.. at least kia is there.

    1. it only shows that you’re a noobsπŸ˜…you should go directly to the bank, aside from availing low interest rates they know the dealership that offers the biggest discount. Just tell the bank what car do you want and they will do the rest for you.
