VinFast Transforms Dealerships Into Car Rental Hubs

VinFast is just putting everything, and we mean everything, out there. From introducing things like a battery subscription model and a residual value guarantee program, the Vietnamese EV maker has just transformed its dealerships into car rental hubs as well.

Under the rental model, service drivers can start earning with a low upfront deposit, long-term contracts, and competitive fixed daily rates as low as P 1,000 centered around the “Green” vehicle line-up that includes the Herio Green and Limo Green. Drivers who opt for rental services also benefit from free charging at V-Green stations through March 2029.

The program is now being rolled out in Metro Manila and is expected to expand gradually.

VinFast’s new rental option, together with the traditional ownership route, is designed to provide greater flexibility, allowing drivers and transport operators to select an access model aligned with their financial capacity and operational needs.

  2. VinFast needs to find a way to stand out and survive the local industry so all these non-standard ways of presenting EV to the buyers is being tried. VF has been in the market for several years now. There were months where CAMPI numbers show zero sales for VF, this is not good for the brand VF. The war has been good for most electrified vehicle sellers. VF is one of them. I can see VF3 is selling well but no word on the rest of the line up VF5, 7 & 9 and commercial models like Limo and Herio Green. Having a dealership that can sell and rent cars is very creative. It wants its buyers to experience and trust VF beyond Green GSM's VF34 (Nerio Green) taxi model.
