BAIC Philippines, under UAAGI Auto Inc., officially formalized its partnership with MG Gateway Mantrade Corporation.
The partnership marks a major step in BAIC Philippines’ nationwide expansion as Gateway Group officially adds BAIC to its growing automotive portfolio. Known as one of the country’s largest and most established automotive dealer groups, Gateway Motors Group has built a strong presence in the Philippine automotive industry through its extensive dealership operations and commitment to delivering quality mobility solutions across multiple brands.
Gateway Group is set to open new BAIC dealerships in Manila Bay, Taguig, and Matina in Davao. These strategic locations are expected to strengthen BAIC’s footprint in key urban and regional markets while making the brand more accessible to a wider range of Filipino customers.
“Gateway Group coming on board tells us the demand is real, and we’d rather grow where people are already asking for us than get ahead of ourselves,” said Timothy Sytin, BAIC Philippines Brand Head. “Each new location is one more place a Filipino can get to know BAIC up close, and that’s what keeps this moving.”
The contract signing was attended by executives from both organizations, including Mr. Timothy Sytin, Brand Head of BAIC Philippines; Mr. Kenneth Sytin, Vice Chairman of UAAGI; Mr. Markane Goho, Chairman & CEO of MG Gateway Mantrade Corp.; and Mr. Alvin Lu, General Manager of MG Gateway Mantrade Corp.
The addition of Gateway Group further strengthens BAIC Philippines’ growing dealer network as the brand continues to build momentum in the country’s highly competitive automotive industry. Through strategic partnerships and continued expansion, BAIC Philippines continues to position itself as an emerging player in the modern mobility and new energy vehicle segment.
