Another Large Toyota Service Center Will Rise In Palo, Leyte

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), in collaboration with Toyota Tacloban, Leyte Inc., starts the development of a new service center located in the municipality of Palo, Leyte.

The upcoming facility, located in Palo, Leyte, will deliver high-standard and trustworthy automotive services, reinforcing Toyota’s commitment to worry-free ownership while enriching every stage of the customer journey.

Once completed, the Toyota Palo, Leyte Service Center will cover a total floor area of 6,000 square meters (just as big as the Toyota Service Center in Los Banos) and provide a comprehensive range of services, including Express Maintenance, Periodic Maintenance, and General Repairs. The facility will also feature a modern showroom and 32 fully equipped service bays designed to deliver enhanced customer service to Toyota customers in the province.

The service center is expected to open by Mid-2027.

“For the past 13 years, Toyota Tacloban has been committed to the Toyota brand through providing quality products and services to our customers,” shared TMP Senior Vice President for Marketing Sherwin Chua-Lim. “And over time, have gained the trust of twenty-eight thousand customers to date, reflecting the confidence that the people of Leyte have placed in us,” he added.

“This groundbreaking ceremony is not simply about constructing another service center. It is about preparing for the next generation. Anyone can build only for today’s needs, today’s demand, or today’s convenience,” said Toyota Tacloban, Leyte Inc. President Jimmy T. Yaokasin. “As we look around our province today, we see rapid change everywhere. Technology is evolving, mobility is happening, and customer expectations continue to rise. The needs of our communities are growing, and this expansion is our response to that future,” he added.

Palo is a first-class municipality located in Leyte, with convenient access to major transportations routes, making it an important transit and commercial hub in the region. The municipality is traversed by the Pan-Philippine highway, providing seamless connectivity to nearby cities and provinces, including Tacloban City, as well as other parts of Leyte and Samar. Its proximity to key infrastructure such as airports, seaports, and national road networks supports the efficient movement of people and goods, further strengthening Palo’s role in regional mobility, trade, and economic development.
