Confirmed: 364-Horsepower GWM Haval H7 SUV Launching This June 15


After its preview at the Manila International Auto Show, the date is set for the launch of the GWM Haval H7. Mark your calendars on June 15 as this new SUV, designed to meet the evolving demands of modern Filipino motorists, will officially join the GWM Philippines lineup.

Blending intelligent hybrid technology, impressive performance, premium comfort, and genuine versatility, the Haval H7 is poised to become one of the most compelling new entrants in the country’s growing SUV market.

Confirmed by GWM Philippines is the model lineup which will come in three variants:
  • Haval H7 HEV 2WD
  • Haval H7 PHEV 2WD
  • Haval H7 PHEV 4WD
With multiple electrified powertrain options available, the GWM Haval H7 reflects GWM’s commitment to providing innovative mobility solutions that combine efficiency, capability, and everyday practicality.

Showcasing GWM’s latest advancements in hybrid technology, the range-topping Haval H7 PHEV 4WD produces an impressive 364 horsepower and 760 Nm—one of the most powerful offerings in its class. In addition, the Haval H7 is built for daily driving and weekend adventures with its full-size spare tire, V2L capability, and DC fast charging technology.

Meanwhile, the Haval H7 HEV 2WD has an electrified 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. The single motor setup paired with a 1.53-kWh battery produces 244 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque. This is paired to a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) routing power through the front wheels.

Inside, the Haval H7 serves up a modern, tech-focused driving experience with a customizable heads-up display (HUD). Other features include a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, 15.6-inch infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, power adjustable driver’s seat, wireless Apple CarPlay, 50-watt wireless charging, 8 speakers, and a cooling compartment built into the center console.

More details, including the pricing will be revealed during the official launch event. Although pre-selling at MIAS indicated a starting price of just P 1.3 million, topping out at P 1.7 million for the top-of-the-line trim.
