The all-new ES signals a new chapter for luxury mobility as imagined by Lexus. The next-generation ES blends design, performance, and technology into its most progressive form yet.

The latest design language features cleaner surfaces and sculpted proportions for a stronger road presence. The ES is also now longer making it more spacious than ever.

Confirmed are the exterior colors which are Sonic Copper, Sonic Titanium, Sonic Chrome, Sonic Iridium, White Nova Glass Flake, Graphite Black Glass Flake, and the newest color: Sou.

And representing the same multi-path approach that Lexus’ parent company, Toyota, is doing, the all-new ES will come in both hybrid and fully electric variants.

Although the full specs will be revealed at the launch, Lexus Philippines has already garnered DOE approval for at least three variants: the ES 350e and the ES 350h Executive and ES 350h Luxury.

The ES 350e, as seen in its homologation papers, features a front-mounted e-Axle, which integrate both the power control unit and transaxle. In this guise, it delivers 227 horsepower (167 kW) and 269 Nm of torque. The battery size is also confirmed to be a 77 kWh (74.68 kWh usable) NCM lithium-ion battery pack which should offer it 530 kilometers of WLTP range.

Meanwhile, the ES 350h packs a 2.5-liter self-charging hybrid delivering a combined output of 247 horsepower (189 horsepower from the combustion motor and 162 horsepower from the electric motor) mated to an E-CVT.

Regardless of powertrain, the ES promises an even more immersive experience with its new-generation cabin design, enhanced comfort features, and Lexus’ latest driver-assistance technologies.
