First shown during the Denza Philippine brand launch, the Z9 GT is the first model in the BYD and Denza line-up to use the second-generation BYD Blade Battery and Flash Charging system in the Philippines.

Together, the two new technologies deliver remarkable recharging speeds, regardless of the conditions. A 10 to 70 percent refill takes as little as five minutes, while 10 to 97 percent requires only nine minutes. Meanwhile, the BYD Blade Battery itself is capable of longer distances on a single charge thanks to a 5 percent gain in energy density. Ranges of more than 1,000 kilometers are now possible (based on the CLTC efficiency test). Battery durability has also been improved with overall capacity degradation reduced by 2.5 percent.

Exact powertrain specifications and details will be revealed closer to the launch, but Denza says the Z9 GT will target a first quarter 2027 market introduction. In addition, reservations will open officially at the Super Experience Week event ahead of its market introduction.

Alongside the Denza D9, B5, and B8, BYD will also display its full line-up. Models from both BYD and Denza will be available for test drives as well.

The event will feature the next leg of the Drive Electric EV Safety Program which supports greater awareness and education as the EV community continues to grow in the Philippines.

On Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, BYD will cap off the Super Experience Week by transforming 5th Avenue into a dedicated showcase of performance featuring not just the Denza B5, Denza B8, and Shark 6 DMO, but several Yangwang models as well.
