Dongfeng Philippines (Legado Motors) has officially launched the Mage EV, an all-electric compact SUV that offers a 530-kilometer range at a competitive P 1,398,000 price tag.
Designed primarily for business (rental, taxis, TNVS), but practical enough for value seekers, the Mage EV arrives sporting a large stature—4,685 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,617 mm in height (2,775 mm wheelbase). Plus, it offers an estimated driving cost of P 2 per kilometer making it an appealing option, for private or public use.
Powering it is a front-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor producing 183 horsepower (135 kW) and 260 Nm of torque. The liquid-cooled 61.83 kWh LFP “Mach Battery” unlocks a 530-kilomter range based on the CLTC standard.
In terms of styling, the Mage EV features the Flying Wing LED headlights upfront, hidden door handles, and an aero spoiler. Inside, it comes with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.6-inch multimedia display, and a 413-liter trunk.
The Mage EV, like other Dongfeng EVs, are covered by the brand’s new “Protech” package that bundles an 18-month or 15,000-kilometer PMS interval, a 10-year unlimited mileage battery warranty, and a 5-year bumper-to-bumper warranty.

Multilink suspension when torsion beams frequent its price point -- just one of the value for money features of this car at this price. Note as well that this is roughly the same size as a CR-V! At UNDER 1.4M, this is a really good deal for an EV.
