Geely Philippines is bringing in a new colorway for its EX2 battery electric hatchback: pink. The new colorway, Aurora Pink, joins the current colorway of Moon White, Star Silver, Nebula Beige, Aurora Green, and Comet Gray as a limited 200-unit run.
The announcement was made by Geely Philippines executives as it gathered 20 EX2 owners in an intimate gathering. The owners’ session is part of the carmaker’s recurring activities for its customers enabling them to gain direct access to the company’s technical team and to forge a strong connection among the Geely community in the country.
“Our EX2 owners are among the first in the country to make the switch to electric driving with Geely, and we want them to feel fully supported at every stage of ownership. Sessions like this allow us to share practical knowledge about their vehicles and to make sure they know exactly how our warranty and after-sales support work for them,” said Arsenio Chavez Jr., Technical, Training, and Warranty Manager of Geely Motor Philippines when asked about the gathering.
The EX2 is the best-selling battery electric vehicle (BEV) in China. In the Philippines, it’s offered in two variants—the EX2 Pro and the EX2 Max. Both variants offer the same powertrain—a single-motor producing 115 horsepower (85 kW) and 150 Nm of torque driving the rear wheels. Equipped with a 39.4-kWh LFP battery, it goes up to 325 kilometers on a single charge.
Among some of the features found in the EX2 include an 8.8-inch LCD driver’s display, a 14.6-inch infotainment system running Geely’s FlyMe Auto system, a full ADAS suite, and a 6-way powered adjustable driver’s seat.
The EX2 Pink Edition comes in top tier Max variant with a P 10,000 premium over the standard colors (P 1,108,000).
