The S08 is immediately distinct with its western-ish aesthetics. The large grille and its horizontal slits are a bit imposing, but it doesn’t steal much shine from the rest of the car. Its shoulders are just enough to give it body while the rest is clean lines and curves - a good example of clean design.

Jetour claims the S08 has a Diamond-ratio height and Golden Ratio body design—whatever that means (I’m not an architect). As for amenities the information is scarce for the exterior but it gets Stellar Panoramic Headlights, 20-inch Starlight alloy wheels, as well as a powered tailgate with a hands-free function.

The cabin introduces a refreshing take from the brand. There’s wood veneer on the dash, a minimalist center console, hidden ports, very visible buttons, and a cleaner steering wheel. You also have a choice between a dark interior or cream-colored interior theme.

At the center is a 15.6-inch touchscreen with “Sunflower” display. It tilts towards the person who called it from the front row if the function is activated. It also has a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 12-speaker system, 50-watt wireless charger, and a center fridge underneath the front armrest. There’s also second row vents, “Oversized” second row space, and crystal seat adjustment buttons.

Speaking of seats, the S08 is generous to its front occupants. Both of them get heating, ventilation, and memory functions. They are powered too with the driver getting 6-way power adjust and the front passenger has a 4-way adjustment. The second and third row get powered adjustment too with a one-touch access for the third row. They even threw in a Luxury Pillow. They also claim 32 flexible cabin space configurations, and four Queen bed modes for the occupants.

Powering this new steed is a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with Jetour’s Intelligent Dual Electric Motor System. It has 347 horsepower and 525 Nm of torque. This system is paired to an 18.4 kWh battery allowing it to travel on pure electric energy for up to 85 kilometers, or a combined range of around 1,000 kilometers.

As for safety, the S08 has an Electronic Child Lock, Front and Rear Sensors, 360-camera system, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold.

The Jetour S08 i-DM has an introductory price of P 1,698,000 until November 30, 2026. It will come with the brand’s 6-year or 1-million kilometer vehicle warranty, 10-year or 1-million kilometer engine warranty, and 8-year or 150,000 kilometer high-voltage battery warranty. You can choose between Azure Grey, Midnight Black, Morning Mist White, and Stream Silver colors.
