The Europe-Only Nissan Navara N-Guard Looks Pretty Slick

Remember the Nissan Navara EnGuard Concept? A one-off concept truck made to operate in some of the world’s harshest and most extreme environment? Well, Nissan finally brought it into production (sort-of).

For European markets, the carmaker just introduced the Navara N-Guard, a special version of the Navara.

Based on the flagship Tekna grade (our 4x4 VL grade), the N-Guard swaps its chrome bits for black ones. You see that in the front grille, fog lamp surrounds, mirror covers, door handles, and rear bumper. Matching side steps and roof rails have been added, along with unique black 18-inch alloy wheels. The interior of the headlamps has been darkened, and a powered sunroof with tinted glass is standard. The makeover is completed with unique decals at the base of the doors, extending on to the load bed behind the rear wheel.

Inside refinement and sophistication is the name of the N-Guard’s game. Aside from the sunroof, it gets restyled leather seats with a dark gray and yellow design, complemented by yellow double stitching. This feature is replicated on the door trim and on the new floor mats, which feature a geometric design to match the exterior decals.

Front and rear parking sensors and headlamp washers are fitted as standard equipment, when they would otherwise be optional extras. The one item still on the options list though is a front differential locker. The Navara does have a standard rear differential locker though.

Great as it looks, the Navara N-Guard remains mechanically the same to the standard Navara. However, customers can opt to order the N-Guard with the OFF-ROADER AT32 pack. While it’s still not the reported Ranger Raptor fighter, it does include bespoke performance suspension that increases ride height by 20 mm, full protection of key under body components and larger 32-inch tires. A snorkel also improves its wading depth to 800 mm while protecting the engine from heavy dust. The price for all this? A cool £ 38,368 (~ P 2.673 million).
