Starting This February, Toyota PH Ups the Vios's Warranty

With a dizzying array of variants available for its best-selling vehicle, the Vios, Toyota Motor Philippines just made a huge distinction for those opting to buy the upper trim models: a longer standard warranty.

Together with its February promo, the Toyota Price Slash, Toyota Motor Philippines quietly announced that selected variants of its sub-compact sedan now carry a standard 5-year / 150,000-kilometer warranty—that’s up two years and 50,000 kilometers compared to previous.

Part of its Toyota Sure Advantage, the new, longer warranty covers the E, E Prime, G, and G Prime models purchased at any authorized Toyota dealership on or after February 1, 2020. Customers whose units are covered by the new warranty program will receive a letter containing the following details:
  • Vehicle Model Details
  • Release Date
  • Conduction Sticker Number
  • Vehicle Identification Number or Chassis Number
  • Engine Number
The 5-year / 150,000-kilometer warranty remains valid for as long as the customer brings this letter to any authorized Toyota dealer to claim any warranty-related issue or repair.

Suffice to say, the other variants such as the Base, J, XE, and XLE are still covered by the 3-year / 100,000-kilometer warranty.
