Honda is Teasing the All-New 2022 HR-V

Honda will unveil the latest generation of its popular HR-V compact crossover in February this year. The small SUV will feature the company’s advanced two-motor e:HEV powertrain technology as standard for the first time (it is unknown yet whether Honda will still offer a normally-aspirated or turbocharged version). Honda’s innovative hybrid set-up combines high efficiency with refined, fun-to-drive performance.

The all-new HR-V exemplifies Honda’s commitment to achieving its ‘Electric Vision’ strategy that will see most of its mainstream models electrified by 2022. The HR-V is the latest model in the Honda line-up to wear the e:HEV powertrain badging, joining the CR-V and all-new Jazz (aka Fit).

In this set of teaser photos, the HR-V will retain its trademark hidden rear door handle and coupe-like roofline. It is also teased with what looks like contrasting color options for the roof. Inside, it is very clear that it will get a floating infotainment system and a horizontally-themed dashboard.

The all-new 2022 HR-V will be unveiled on February 18, 2021.
