Refreshed Suzuki Dzire Arrives in PH with Starting Price of P 648k

After being launched globally last year, Suzuki Philippines, Inc. (SPH) is welcoming 2021 with the new Dzire sub-compact sedan. The Dzire comes with enhanced features and a refreshed design while still maintain its position as a true “bang-for-the-buck” offering.

The 2021 Dzire features a new chrome grille and bumper to create a more dapper look together with front fog lamps and 15-inch alloy wheels. The authentic sedan styling is available in two variants—GL and GL+—priced at P 648,000 and P 708,000, respectively. It comes in a wide variety of colors with Artic White Pearl, Premium Silver, and Midnight Black Pearl for the GL. The GL+ adds Oxford Blue Pearl Metallic, Magma Gray Metallic, and Phoenix Red Pearl Metallic to the choices.

Inside, the Dzire now comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with USB and Bluetooth connectivity as well as GPS navigation, and AM/FM radio. Other new features are power adjustable side mirrors with fold and reverse parking sensors.

Regardless of the trim, the Dzire continues to be underpinned by the lightweight, yet highly rigid HEARTECT platform. It continues to run on a 1.2-liter engine mated to either a 5-speed manual (GL) or an automated manual called Auto Gear Shift (AGS).

New to the 2021 Dzire is the addition of Electronic Stability Program or ESP. This sets the bar for its class by offering an extra layer of security for the driver during changeable or unpredictable weather situations. ESP automatically controls engine torque and brakes to suppress wheel slip. This helps the driver to stay in control, especially if it encounters slippery roads or when the car loses traction. The ESP system also incorporates Hill Hold Control.

“We are very much thankful for the great support that the market has shown to us, especially for the past year. Despite the challenges the we are faced with, this new model serves as our light and hope as we continue to work harder and strive for greatness in the months and years to come,” said SPH Vice President and General Manager for Automobile Keiichi Suzuki.

He further added, “We in Suzuki Philippines are happy to announce that the New Dzire offers our latest innovative technology and design that offers an authentic sedan experience. We are optimistic that with this new model, we will be able to continue in championing the Suzuki Way of Life, and remain true to our dedication to deliver quality products and services.”
