Would You Pay P 1.145M For A Two-Seater Suzuki Jimny?

Late last year, Suzuki showed off a two-seater Jimny. Meant to circumvent the stricter emissions standards in Europe for passenger cars, this new Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) will be made available in very small numbers and will be priced at £ 16,796 or around P 1.145 million in the U.K.

Starting with a regular Jimny, Suzuki removed the rear seats and re-configured the rear area into a flat cargo compartment with a safety partition. The 863-liter space is 33 liters more than the regular 4-seater Jimny.

The single variant comes with air conditioning, 15-inch black steel wheels, cruise control with speed limiter, and of course, the AllGrip Pro selected 4WD system with low-speed transfer gear. It is also powered by the same K15B 1.5-liter 4-cylinder mated to a 5-speed manual.

For enhanced peace of mind when driving both on and off-road though, the LCV model comes equipped with a feature not found in the Philippine market Jimny: Dual Sensor Brake Support (DSBS) which employs automatic brake to help avoid a collision.

The two-seater Suzuki Jimny is a Europe-only model, but other markets including the Philippines may soon get a five-door version that offers enhanced interior space and family practicality.

  1. Would You Pay P 1.145M? I would but you can not get any. Before they had even hit UK soil they had already sold out.
