Lexus PH Introduces New ES 300h Luxury Variant For 2023

The Lexus ES lineup is expanding with the introduction of the hybrid electric ES 300h Luxury variant, offering customers more options for a decadent trim level when choosing a Lexus ES. This brings the total variant count of the Lexus ES to three: the ES 300h Executive, the new ES 300h Luxury, and the ES 350 Premier a year after the refreshed ES arrived in the Philippines.

Priced at P 4,218,000, the Lexus ES 300h Luxury variant has specifications that are very similar to the top-of-the-line, conventionally powered ES 350 Premier. Features include a 235/45R18 wheel-and-tire combination, rain-sensing wipers, smooth leather seats, 10-way power seat adjustment with memory for the driver, 8-way power seat adjustment for the front passenger, a kick sensor for the trunk, and a 12.3-inch Electro Multi-Vision Touch Display.

The Lexus ES 300h Luxury also comes equipped with Lexus Safety Sense (LSS). This is a suite of advanced safety features include the Pre-Collision System (PCS), Adaptive High Beam System (AHS), Automatic High Beam System (AHB), Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC). The latest development of LSS features tweaks to improve its performance and functionality. They have been tuned to operate in a way that feels more natural to the driver.

Powering the Lexus ES300h Luxury is a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with laser-clad intake valve seats, which permit increased airflow into the cylinder and an intake port shape that increases the tumble-flow turbulence of incoming air and fuel for high-speed combustion. The engine also achieves world-leading thermal efficiency, combining robust power delivery with excellent response to deliver superb fuel efficiency. Power and torque is rated at 178 horsepower and 221 Nm, respectively.

Meanwhile, the ES hybrid system achieves excellent fuel efficiency and powerful acceleration due to the its hybrid transaxle unit with improved efficient internal power flow and a higher-efficiency power control unit. Its compact hybrid battery is located beneath the rear seats, contributing to ideal weight balance and low center of gravity, while enlarging cargo space. Total system output of the gasoline engine and electric motor is 218 horsepower.

Moreover, with the new 4th generation hybrid battery, the new ES hybrid electric variants now come with an 8-year HEV battery warranty. It also comes with the standard drive train warranty of 3 years or 100,000 kilometers (whichever comes first).

The Lexus hybrid drive technology offers an elevated level of sophistication matched by a platform developed with the Lexus Driving Signature philosophy in mind. Thanks to enhancements such as a rear suspension member brace (enhanced torsional rigidity and handling stability) and a revised Electronically Controlled Brake System (enhanced pedal feel), it offers better refinement and comfort.

The Lexus ES 300h Luxury is now available at Lexus Manila. Other Lexus ES models are also available with the ES 350 Premier at P 4,828,000 and the ES 300h Executive at P 3,838,000.
