Mitsubishi Motors PH Introduces Limited-Edition Mirage G4 GLS Black Series For P 899K

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines introduces a new variant to the Mirage G4 family: the Mirage G4 GLS Black Series.

Similar to previous Mitsubishi Black Series models from the Xpander to the Strada to the Montero Sport, the Mirage G4 GLS Black Series adds a dose of sporty style to the sub-compact sedan.

The current Mirage G4 was locally revealed in 2021 and showed off the bold “Dynamic Shield” front face as well as interior refinements such as the 7-inch Smartphone-link Display Audio (SDA) system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Now, the GLS Black Series adds flair with new exterior enhancements such as the front grille red accent, black-painted side mirrors, and high-gloss black 15-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, this new variant is also packed with enhancements such as the new floor LED illumination and center console LED illumination, both in blue. It also comes with a center arm rest console and a trunk luggage tray as standard.

“When it comes to our customers, we are all ears in order for us to meet their expectations. For the Mirage G4, the target market, being cool and practical at the same time are their major considerations. With the introduction of this new limited-edition model, we want to give our customers more options to best represent their personality,” said Mr. Takeshi Hara, President and CEO of MMPC.

The Mirage G4 GLS Black Series is equipped with ever-reliable 1.2-liter 3-cylinder DOHC MIVEC engine with a Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT), which produces 78 horsepower and 100 Nm torque. It also has a Keyless Entry and Push Start system along with a Welcome Home and Coming Home light that’s activated with the press of the remote to illuminate immediate surroundings when leaving or approaching the vehicle.

Only 150 units of the Mirage G4 GLS Black Series will be produced. It comes in two colors: Titanium Gray Metallic and Red Metallic and is priced at P 899,000.

  1. Mitsubishi should start adding safety features to the GLX first before it can sell something like the Black Series. Vios XE already has ABS and VSC for reference.
