Subaru PH Bumps Up Prices Of Forester, WRX, Outback

Motor Image Pilipinas, the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in the country, has increased the prices of several of its models effective immediately.

Models sans the Subaru XV, Subaru BRZ, and Evoltis have been affected by this round of price increase where the suggested retail prices have been bumped up by P 100,000. The models affected include their best-selling compact SUV, the Forester as well as the WRX and the Outback.

According to Motor Image, these prices were adjusted last February and are still current as of March.

The price adjustment comes with an additional feature, at least for the Forester. The compact SUV now comes with an idle start/stop system for the very first time to improve its fuel efficiency, especially in stop-and-go traffic. The Subaru XV, though not affected by a price increase, gets the very same system as well.
