Ford PH Just Teased The All-New 2024 Mustang

Heads up: Ford isn’t just launching one but two icon models. After confirming that that they’re bringing in the Bronco after it was leaked by a dealer, they’ve made sure that nobody else jumped the gun and just teased the all-new Mustang as well.

Aside from the iconic emblem and a single word caption which reads, “soon,” no details were revealed (see the post below).

First launched in 2022, the “S650” Mustang is said to be the most digital muscle car ever from Ford. Apart from its iconic look which continues to hark back to the 1964 original, it gives its jetfighter-inspired cockpit a fully digital display with a 12.4-inch instrument panel and a 13.2-inch central screen canted towards the driver. Powered by the Unreal Engine gaming software, it supports interactive animated graphics and settings that can be changed by touching or swiping gestures.

Available features could include a B&O audio system, SYNC 4 with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto.

Though the Mustang continues to be offered with a 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost, we think the Mustang will go with a full V8 line-up in the Philippines The 5.0-liter V8 might carry a slightly different tune to its North American counterpart. Potentially, our version will make 440 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque—down some 40 horsepower compared to the U.S. version. A more powerful tune with 448 horsepower, is available for the Mustang Dark Horse (more on that later). If Ford continues with their playbook in the current-generation Mustang, expect it to have an option between a 6-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic.

Thankfully, to make up for the power deficit, Ford is making the Performance Package as standard. The package includes Brembo brakes behind the 19-inch alloy wheels and a limited-slip differential (LSD).

It is also possible that the Philippine spec Mustang will feature the MagneRide adaptive dampers which monitors road conditions one thousand times a second and adjusts the settings to ensure the best possible control and comfort.

And since we talked about the Mustang Dark Horse, the Philippines may get access to this performance-oriented version as well.

The Mustang Dark Horse features unique functional design elements with a race car-inspired fixed rear wing, side skirts, and rear diffuser boosting aerodynamic performance. On-track performance is boosted by enhanced suspension, improved cooling for endurance, and grippy Pirelli tires.

The Mustang Dark Horse comes with the unique Blue Ember metallic paint, while the interior features Indigo Blue stitching and a dark metallic gloss finish for a distinctive feel.
