At the base of Tianshu Intelligent are three pillars: predictive and reliable driving assistance; intelligent cockpit that connects users with technology; and chassis that provide stability and accuracy even in emergency situations.

As an all-encompassing safety solution, Tianshu Intelligent will feature over 62 core technologies, 96 functional “scenarios,” and eight industry-first innovations. These include improvements to typical driver assistance technologies such as night-vision autonomous emergency braking, precise torque control, and tire condition monitoring to manage even the riskiest scenarios such as a high-speed tire blowout.

For example, Tianshu Intelligent systems will include the fitment of LIDAR, multi-angle cameras, and a self-developed Vision-Language-Action model that delivers 360-degree vision with no blind spots as well as an Artificial Intelligence system that “learns” from millions of kilometers of real-world driving data.

As Changan looks as safety from mere physical protection to one that’s more holistic, the carmaker is now considering health, psychological well-being, and even data privacy factors as well. To that end, it’ll fit new models with features such as “AAA-level” interior screens, immersive 3D surround sound, non-toxic materials in the interior, triple-layer air purification, and the industry’s first certified anti-motion-sickness technology.

Over the past five years, Changan has been carefully honing Tianshu Intelligent through its 24,000-strong engineering team spread across 44 R&D centers across 6 countries and 10 cities globally. It’s also partnered with Huawei, Tencent, and Haier to build a fully-integrated ecosystem while also expanding its offerings into robotics and low-altitude “flying cars.”
