Review: 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe 2WD & 4WD
Korean culture is taking the entire world by storm. Everything from food to pop music to soap operas is enjoying tremendous success, catapulting them to mainstream culture. The latest one to cross the oceans from Seoul to the rest of the world is PSY and his addictive song, “Gangnam Style”.
Gangnam refers to a district in Seoul where people are generally considered trendy, hip, and classy. You can liken it to their version of Beverly Hills in the US or Bonifacio Global City here. Cool and chic as the people are from Gangnam though, they never proclaim that they are, hence the comedic value of the song. In that sense, the all-new 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe is a true citizen of Gangnam. It’s not a luxury pretender. It’s cool and classy, down to its diesel-fed soul.

Hyundai Reveals 2013 Santa Fe
Hyundai has finally taken the covers off its all-new Santa Fe at the New York International Auto Show. And as promised, it finally brings the Fluidic Sculpture design motif to the aging mid-sized crossover. At the show floor, Hyundai surprised the audience by unveiling two wheelbase choices (standard and long wheelbase) for the all-new Santa Fe possibly meaning the demise of the Veracruz full-sized crossover.
From the outside, the Santa Fe takes on the "Storm Edge" concept which aims to capture the strong and dynamic images created by nature during the formation of a storm. Though we're not entirely sure how it fits right into the Santa Fe design, we certainly like the Santa Fe's new bolder exterior which include available 19-inch alloys.

Hyundai Gives Sneak Peek of 2013 Santa Fe
Putting rumors of its impending death to rest, Hyundai has released teaser shots of its all-new Santa Fe which will be unveiled at the upcoming New York International Auto Show in April.
The all-new Santa Fe, which will be known as "DM" in South Korea will embody a design concept which Hyundai calls "Storm Edge". Of course, it will still be based off Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture design philosophy. Aside from the two shots revealed, Hyundai remains tight-lipped about the all-new Santa Fe. However, Hyundai does say that the Santa Fe will embody "Refinement", "Smartness" and "Practicality".
Since its launch, the Santa Fe crossover has sold over 2.56 million worldwide.

Hyundai to Launch All-New Sante Fe in the Philippines in 2012

Though details about the all-new Santa Fe are still not readily available at this time, different spy shots reveal that it will gain a similar facia found on the Sonata and Equus sedans. Speculations also point to revised engine choices including the possibility of a turbocharged mill as the range-topping variant.
In the same report, Kotse.com did mention that the new micro car, Eon and Veloster are set to be launched but according to HARI executives, these two vehicles are still "being considered" at this point. But as Kotse.com points out, with the reduction of tariffs between Korea and the ASEAN countries, there's a big, and we mean, big possibility of seeing a more robust (and affordable) line-up from Hyundai.
