Mazda Fan Festa PH Amps Up 2025 Philippine Race Season

When we speak of brand love, it normally takes the form of perfectly calculated strategy, creative implementation, and impeccable attention to detail that ensures nothing is out of place when it comes to all the elements that personify the brand’s integrity. Another perspective would speak of the passion that is rooted in the brand’s core—its ingenuity, philosophy, and the legacy that weaves an iconic experience that is uniquely unforgettable.

This experience was brought to life through Mazda Fan Festa 2025 Philippines, inspired by the annual festival of the same title that is traditionally held across three legs in Japan (Tohoku, Fuji Speedway, and Okayama). In the Philippines, Mazda Fan Festa is in its third year, with the festival having debuted last 2023 in Clark International Speedway. While the first two celebrations (2023 and 2024) were held as part of the culminating event that closed the annual MSCC Miata Spec Series and Miata Cup race series, Mazda Philippines decided to make 2025 bigger and better. In the spirit of bringing together community and motorsport, Fan Festa 2025 Philippines will be held in conjunction with the 2025 MSCC Miata Spec Series and 2025 Miata Cup – on all four race weekends!

This year, Mazda Philippines was able to secure an exclusive full-day use of Clark International Speedway on every race weekend, for both the MSCC Miata Spec Series and the Miata Cup races. This was a gamechanger, allowing Mazda to have free reign throughout the venue and the racers to enjoy the privilege of having their own paddocks to prepare their vehicles and chill out in-between runs.

Apart from the presence of Philippine motorsport greats like Tyson Sy and Angie Mead King, a notable newbie was Chenee Ang Jimenez, who mentored under Angie as a first in Mazda’s female mentorship program for the one-make race series.

What made the first leg of Mazda Fan Festa unique was how Mazda incorporated a 1-hour endurance run that was open to all guests and participants that brought their own Mazda vehicle. The endurance run allowed Mazda owners a taste of what it’s like to drive on the race track and the thrill of discovering the capabilities of their car.

Moreover, it allowed owners to participate in the excitement of the day, instead of simply being spectators watching from the sidelines.

The opening race weekend this year saw spectacular attendance by racers and enthusiasts alike, with Fan Festa adding a festive, celebratory element to the main race events. Mazda Philippines brought together some of the best brands in the motorsport industry including main event sponsor, Shell as well as GT Radial, Cusco, Concept One Wheels, Momo, and Parts Pro.

Creating community and fostering the spirit of motorsport is what Mazda is all about. The Mazda race series and the celebration of Fan Festa brought to light what it means to be a Mazda owner and how capable Mazda vehicles are.

The next three legs of the series is set to be even more exciting. If you missed the first one, catch the upcoming second leg on July 5, 2025 at Clark International Speedway.
