Review: 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 9 Calligraphy AWD Long Range
The Ioniq 9 is Hyundai’s third all-electric offering in the Philippines. It’s also their biggest and most expensive. At P 4,580,000, it has crept up into true luxury category and, therefore, makes it one challenging sale. Nonetheless, it serves as a test on whether a Korean luxury vehicle can be taken seriously outside its typical clientele of expats and diplomats. After a week’s worth of driving, it can be summed up in a way that its luxury cost is entirely justified. Apart from one nagging issue.

Xpeng believes “AI Mobility” will be their biggest differentiation when they launch in the Philippines this September. Review: 2026 Hyundai Creta N Line 1.5T DCT
The Hyundai Creta N Line came with a warning label. In memory, this is the first car I’ve tested that came with one. It wasn’t a label about just how cool looking this new compact crossover was or anything like that; it was about potential transmission overheating issues and how to deal with it. Although I found the label tucked away in the spare tire compartment, its layout suggests it was attached to the gear lever at delivery. Foreboding, isn’t it?
