If you’re in the market for a brand-new RAV4, prepare to pay more starting this August. Toyota Motor Philippines has announced a price adjustment for both variants of their compact SUV, bringing up their suggest retail prices.
The entry-level RAV4 Adventure now starts at P 2,227,000—a P 44,000 increase from its introductory price of P 2,183,000. On the other hand, the RAV4 Limited is now P 2,549,000—a P 59,000 increase from its P 2,490,000 introductory price. Read our first drive impressions or watch our take on the all-new RAV4.
The price increase comes as Toyota continues to grapple from a global supply shortage of its compact SUV due to its high demand. Because of supply chain bottlenecks and the Middle East conflict, Toyota has had to cut its output of the RAV4 by 100,000 units until February 2027 at the very least.
This isn’t even factoring in the effects of the recent Kumamoto earthquake which could disrupt the supply chain even more.
In the Philippines, there’s already a growing wait list for the all-new RAV4 with some buyers having to wait more than three months to get their allocation.
For Toyota’s part, they’re expanding the manufacturing footprint of their new compact SUV. Aside from being assembled already in Japan and Canada, Toyota’s Kentucky plant has started to assemble the RAV4 to help satisfy the strong demand.
Aside from the RAV4, the Alphard luxury MPV has also seen a big jump in its SRP. From P 4,671,000, it’s now priced at P 4,800,000—a P 129,000 price jump compared to before.
