Basically, there are two reasons why automakers would design and build a car. Either they’re doing it for the sheer passion of it, or because they see it as a way to improve their bottom line. In rare occasions, you get something born out of pure passion like the GT-R, the Z, and depending on who you ask, the LEAF.
