BPI To Offer Exclusive Discounts, Preferential Financing Rates From June 20-24

The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is holding its first face-to-face in-branch activity starting on Monday, June 20 with its Best Deals Fest. Clients can avail of exclusive and affordable financing products for their dream car and home.

Through the Exclusive Partner Offers promo—which will only be available during the Best Deals Fest—clients can avail of big cash discounts, low interest rates, and waived fees on their dream vehicle and property from different participating car brands and real estate developers through BPI Auto or Housing Loans.

For car loans, BPI is partnering with brands such as Toyota, Ford, and AC Motors (Honda, Isuzu, Kia, Volkswagen, and Maxus). One offer during the five-day event is a preferential loan rates of as low as 6.88 percent for a 5-year (60-month) loan term. This is compared to their published loan term rate of 10.93 percent for the same period.

Clients also have an option to avail of the on-going BPI Flex-Rewards promo where they can snag up to P 50,000 worth of flex rewards for every P 500,000 and P 1 million worth of auto and housing loans, respectively.

More deals also await them with the special offers from BPI Credit Cards and BPI MS.

AC Motors, Ford, and Ayala Land Inc., will also be mounting unit displays to help clients assess and choose the most suitable product for their needs.

BPI will leverage its branches for this Best Deals Fest as it expands its retail loan portfolio. This is as the bank continues to see an upward trend in loan availment, which is driven by the improving COVID-19 situation in the country.

In 2021, BPI’s Auto Loan portfolio recorded a sharp growth in terms of bookings at 37 percent versus the previous year. The Housing Loan portfolio, for its part, generated a 10 percent increase in 2021 versus the year before.

Through the Best Deals Fest, which will run from June 20 to 24 this year, BPI is targeting to deliver 20 percent more bookings in auto and housing loans.

“Consumer confidence is back. Car and home purchases are back in demand as Filipinos move forward and continue to pursue their aspirations. And the Best Deals Fest is a perfect opportunity for aspiring car and homeowners to get their dream home and car, as BPI and our partners have exclusive offers for them,” said Dennis T. Fronda, Retail Lending Group Head, BPI.

The Best Deals Fest will be offered in all BPI branches nationwide. “This activity will show the relevance of a brick-and-mortar branch as a one-stop shop for their financial needs. In this case, their home and auto loans. While there is convenience in using digital platforms for usual financial transactions, big purchases like a house or a car will be made more convenient for the clients if assisted in a branch,” said Fronda.
