AXA Philippines Rewards You For Good Driving Behavior With Pay-How-You-Drive Insurance

According to MMDA data, the average rate of road crashes in Metro Manila is 156.65 per day. A higher volume of traffic also often leads to more accidents with October and November being the deadliest months.

Driving is considered an essential skill nowadays that requires continuous improvement. Whether you're a seasoned or a new driver, there will always be an opportunity to hone your driving competency. One such way is through the use of driver monitoring apps.

Many insurance companies offer driver monitoring programs that record and analyze your driving behavior using telematic devices and smartphone apps. These programs monitor factors such as speed, acceleration, braking, and sometimes even adherence to traffic laws. By utilizing these systems, you can receive insights into your driving habits and identify areas for improvement, ultimately leading to safer driving practices.

But AXA Philippines, through the Connected Toyota Insurance or CTI, goes a step further. It rewards you with savings for good driving behavior.

Developed in partnership with Toyota Motor Philippines, Connected Toyota Insurance is the country’s first Pay-How-You-Drive insurance. Through CTI, AXA Philippines offers customers up to a 25 percent premium reduction on policy renewals based on their mileage per trip and driving habits such as cornering, braking, and acceleration. In short, the safer you drive, the less you pay.

Connected Toyota Insurance is available through myToyota Connect. It’s currently available on Toyota vehicles equipped with connected devices such as the RAV4, Hiace, Hilux, Fortuner, and Zenix.
