Honda Moves BR-V Production Back to Philippines

The Philippine automotive industry got a huge boost with Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) move to localize the BR-V’s production to their Santa Rosa, Laguna assembly plant.

“As a representation of our sincerest gratitude to our Filipino customers, the Honda BR-V will now be produced in our Santa Rosa, Laguna Plant. Following strict global standards, the Philippine-made BR-V will be rolling off to our dealerships starting November 2018. Our customers will enjoy the exact BR-V sold all over the world, without the long waiting time,” says Noriyuki Takakura, President and General Manager of HCPI.

As the BR-V joins the City as the two models assembled by HCPI at their Santa Rosa, Laguna assembly plant, it bolsters the Philippine automotive manufacturing industry as a whole. The first-ever BR-V that rolled off the local assembly line can be viewed at the Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) 2018 that runs from today until Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the World Trade Center in Pasay.
