Ford PH Brings Down Price of the EcoSport SUV to Just P 799k

Ford is starting the year with a range of deals in the form of cash discounts, all-in low downpayment offers, and free ownership packages for its SUVs, pickups, and van this January 2021.

With the “Deal After Deal” offer, the Ford EcoSport sub-compact SUV is now available with a starting price of P 799,000 or P 23,000 all-in low downpayment. Meanwhile, the suggested retail price of the mid-range Trend is P 938,000 with a cash discount of P 139,000.

The offers extend to bigger Ford SUVs, with cash discounts of up to P 100,000 on the Everest, and zero percent interest up to 60 months at 20 percent downpayment for the Expedition.

Pickup truck buyers meanwhile can avail of these special offers for the Ford Ranger: cash discounts of up to P 90,000, or pay as low as P 88,000 all-in low downpayment.

Meanwhile, the Ranger Raptor still comes with the Raptor Premium Care Package inclusive of a free 5-year scheduled service plan, 5-year warranty (from 3 years), and 5-year emergency roadside assistance.

Finally, the 15-seater Ford Transit van is now available at P 1,799,000 with a free 5-year scheduled service plan, coming from its new SRP of P 1,999,000 with a P 200,000 cash discount.

“We want to start the year on a high note with these great deals to our customers, making the Ford vehicle ownership easier and more convenient for them,” shares PK Umashankar, president and managing director, Ford Philippines. “With these promotions, we hope to see more Filipino customers drive and enjoy their new Ford vehicles this 2021.”

  1. Cash discounts being offered at present are a result of the great value one now gets from the normally dismissed "China brands". Finally, their greed is catching up as third world customers can realize the true value of their purchasing power, then largely ignored by Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi et al. For the first time, buying a Japanese car seems absurd considering the value you missed out from the Chinese counterparts. The resale value and brand equity arguments lose traction in light of the disparity in tech and value you get for you money when buying outside the normal choices.
