Suzuki Auto PH Achieves Record Breaking Market Share in 2020

Suzuki Philippines Inc. (SPH) is celebrating history with its biggest year-end market share last 2020. The compact car specialist cornered 6.3 percent of the Philippine market thanks to the strong performance of its Ertiga, Carry, and S-Presso. With that, SPH is entering 2021 with an optimistic attitude.

“We in Suzuki Philippines are proud to share this achievement to everyone who supported us and continue to make Suzuki their choice when it comes to automobiles. The past year is proof that we remain relentless in our goal to give the Filipino people quality driving experience. With the new year upon us, we assure our customers that we will continue to be unwavering in our commitment to provide top-quality products and commendable service as we all thrive this 2021,” says SPH Vice President and General Manager for Automobile Division, Keiichi Suzuki.

“Last year posed unexpected turnout of events across different industries, and we are humbled to have been able to thrive and achieve new landmark events including ground breaking ceremonies for dealerships soon to rise and even a virtual opening for a newly-opened dealership in Marikina and Clark. This year, we are ready to provide customers with more options to answer to their expectations in driving in comfort.” ends Mr. Keiichi Suzuki.

The Ertiga, Carry, and All-New S-presso come in as the customers’ favorites making them Suzuki’s top selling vehicles. The three models make up 50 percent of Suzuki’s total sales for the said year. The Ertiga takes 24 percent, followed by the Carry at 14 percent, and the S-Presso at 13 percent.

With 15,515 units sold last year, Suzuki Philippines ended 2020 with its highest recorded market share in SPH history.

Last year, SPH took to its digital resources to ensure that they are available and within reach to their customers. Launching services such as an online auto loan feature on their website, online test drive bookings, and virtual showrooms, comfort and efficiency have been the center of Suzuki’s customer service.

It is also during last year when Suzuki has taken its much-anticipated annual Autofest digitally, making sure that Suzuki fans are still able to experience the excitement of the celebration within the confines of their home. The introduction of the S-Presso and XL7 in the local market was one of Suzuki’s highlights last year.

As the new year dawns brand new opportunities to create reasons to celebrate and reach monumental ventures, Suzuki Philippines is set to once again, excite its fans both old and new with its latest product offerings, as well as getting closer and reaching more customers across the country with dealerships poised to rise.
