Jetour Auto PH Launches T1 Lightning i-DM For P 1.898M (w/ Specs)

In its first official event as part of UAAGI, Jetour Auto Philippines launched the Jetour T1 Lightning i-DM, its latest plug-in hybrid electric vehicle following the Dashing, X70, and the T2.

The T1 Lightning i-DM is a boxy compact SUV, measuring in at 4,705 mm in length, 1,967 mm in width, and 1,843 mm in height. It sports a 2,800 mm wheelbase.

Priced at P 1,798,000 as an introductory offer (P 1,898,000 official SRP), the T1 Lightning i-DM comes in five colors for the local market: Night Black, Sand Gold, Electroplated Green, Silver Snow, and Khaki White.

Standard on the T1 Lightning i-DM is Jetour’s Intelligent Dual Motor plug-in hybrid system. This combines a 1.5-liter gasoline engine and generator (140 horsepower and 215 Nm of torque) with a permanent synchronous electric motor with 204 horsepower (150 kW) and 310 Nm of torque. Power delivery is managed by a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) gearbox.

The onboard 26.7 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery supports both AC and DC fast charging, with the latter taking just 30 minutes for a 30 to 80 percent top up.

Inside, the T1 Lightning i-DM features a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel and a 15.6-inch center control LCD screen. Passengers are protected with UV-reflective and sound-absorbing glass. Unique features include Adaptive Ventilation which automatically adjusts the cabin temperature based on body weight and a 24-hour parked air conditioning function to always keep the cabin cool.

Safety is paramount and as such, the T1 Lightning i-DM is built with an ultra-safe cage body structure with laser welds. In addition, it comes with a full complement of active and passive safety features, a 540-degree panoramic camera, and an advanced driver assist (ADAS) such as Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Front Collision Warning (FCW) with Active Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA).

“The Jetour T1 Lightning i-DM represents more than just advanced technology — it represents our respect for local heritage and our dedication to shaping a sustainable future,” said Mr. Rommel Sytin, Chairman of Jetour Auto Philippines.

“Bringing this vehicle to the Philippines is both a celebration and a promise — a celebration of how far we’ve come, and a promise of where Jetour is headed with the Filipino people,” added Mr. Miguelito Jose, Managing Director of Jetour Auto Philippines.

As a special introductory offer, the first 100 customers of the T1 Lightning i-DM will receive a complimentary Jetour ActivLife Smartwatch, an exclusive companion device. The smartwatch acts to control certain vehicle functions including remote engine start, keyless entry, window and trunk operation, on top of health monitoring and fitness tracking features.

    1. Zero chance JAPI and UAAGI would do that as they're not willing to earn less profit from the Jetour vehicles they're selling

  2. Did this car have no media day? I dont see first drive videos on youtube. The T2 reviews also came like a year late, is Jetour not letting media borrow their cars?

  3. Too expensive. BAIC B30 4x2 costs much less (discounted at Php1.48M) which is much more powerful, bigger and arguably better ruggedly looking ( the white version looks amazing!)

Unless you want to pay Php400k+ more for a longer warranty and you prefer the looks of T1.

    1. BAIC is HEV while Jetour T1 is PHEV, the latter is more expensive
