Ahead, the WWCOTY bestowed two special awards: Renault bagged the Best Tech Award and Ford received the Sandy Myhre Award.
For Renault, it has developed electric platforms such as Amp Small and Amp Medium, which optimize weight, space, and efficiency compared with combustion-based architectures. The brand stands out for integrating electric technology, software, and driver assistance systems in a practical, user-friendly way that enhances everyday usability. Renault has also succeeded in democratizing advanced technology derived from Formula 1.
Meanwhile, the Sandy Myhre Award which recognizes a brand’s commitment to women, has been presented to Ford for its clear and sustained focus on gender equality within its corporate structure. The company has promoted female leadership programs, active work-life balance policies, and equality plans across multiple markets, resulting in a steady increase in women in technical, engineering, and senior management positions.

Uhmmm... I don't wanna say it because I might offend somebody but... Wtf
ReplyDeleteExcept for the Toyota 4Runner, I don't agree with the collective choices of the cars in the list with regards to the cars overall worth and value. Women are ruled by emotions and judges by how the cars make them feel, thus this list of preferences. As a man I would rather be pragmatic and go for long term reliability, function, practicality, ease of maintenance and total cost of ownership as more important than what these choices represent. They have all the rights to their choices though after all men are from Mars and women are from Venus.
ReplyDeleteNo Jeep or some huge pickups in the list?
ReplyDeleteWomen themselves admit: they want these huge cars so they will be respected on the road. The logic goes that they can pretend to be like "men" if they have a huge car.
But real men like small, low, fast cars. Everytime I see a Jeep or an FJ Cruiser, I always think "babae driver nito...".
Weird choices. Isn't it that the Mercedes-Benz CLA is a sub-compact car? Why is it under large car?
