Hyundai Reopens In Palawan With New Dealer Partner

Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) reconnects with its Palaweño customers through Auto Artist Incorporated (AAI). The group was officially welcomed to the brand’s network of dealers through two junctures: the inauguration of the first 1S outlet under HMPH, and the other is the ground breaking of a new dealership.

Hyundai’s 1S outlet is a type of space that does not carry vehicle servicing and spare parts as additions to sales functions. It instead focuses on digitalized touchpoints and tools that provide visitors a more lifestyle-centric and personalized approach to the car buying process. Located at the Ground Floor of Robinson’s Puerto Princesa, the 140.25-sqm span showcases a 2-car display, a media wall, a lounge for private consultations, an open area for additional seating, and a brochure table and configurator wall.

“At Hyundai Motor, we strive to take care of both people and planet. We regard ourselves as more than just a car company. The reason why we find ways to continuously innovate. Whether in designing vehicles, developing campaigns or creating spaces. Our 1S outlet is a product of this. Created to help our customers acquire their dream Hyundai or to just simply have a coffee and discover what can be expected when they become a Hyundai owner,” said Mr. Dongwook Lee, President of HMPH.

On the same day, the newest Hyundai dealership also broke ground in Puerto Princesa. Along with HMPH executives, including Mr. Cecil Capacete, Managing Director, he was present for both occasions. They were joined by AAI’s board of directors, led by Mr. Dennis Tan, President, and Mr. Paul Elton Lao, Chief Operating Officer. Set to open in the third quarter of 2024, Hyundai Palawan is part of the brand’s new expansion target of 46.

“Our vision for this dealership goes beyond the physical structure that will soon rise from this very spot. In today’s rapidly evolving automotive landscape, we understand that our valued customers deserve more than just a place to purchase vehicles,” says Mr. Dennis Tan, President of AAI. “Today also reflects our commitment to progress and growth. It is a testament to the development and economic vitality of our city, as more global brands choose to invest in our community, creating jobs and stimulating economic activity. This speaks volumes about the potential and promise that our province holds. And we are thankful that Hyundai recognizes the beauty of Palawan, not just in its landscapes but in the spirit of its people.”
