The Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) and its member brands demonstrated volume resilience in 2025, driven by continued demand for transport and logistics solutions amid economic headwinds.
Against this backdrop of industry persistence and building from 2024’s 35 percent vehicle sales growth versus 2023, Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP) announces that they’ve managed to secure third place among TMA’s Category III to Category V commercial vehicle segments. In total, SFP delivered 1,461 units in 2025, achieving an impressive 8.1 percent growth compared to 2024.
This performance was driven primarily by strong demand for the Canter light-duty truck line-up, highlighting the brand’s growing momentum through improved customer support systems and an enhanced nationwide market presence.
Mr. Yosuke Nishi, President and CEO of Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation said, “This milestone reflects the dedication of our dealer network and team. And of course, the continued trust of our valued customers across the Philippines. As we move forward, we remain committed to delivering quality service and dependable mobility solutions that keep our customers’ businesses moving. We look ahead to further strengthening partnerships as we continue contributing to the Philippines’ progress.”
Mr. Cho Kyu-Sang, Vice President of Daimler Truck Sales & Marketing SEA said, “We extend our sincere congratulations to the entire team of Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation for achieving this outstanding sales result and securing the number‑three position in the Philippines. This accomplishment is a testament to their unwavering commitment, strong customer focus, and exceptional execution both in Sales & Aftersales Services. The team of Daimler Truck South East Asia is proud of what we have achieved together and looks forward to continuing our successful collaboration as we drive even greater growth and innovation in the future.”
