Here are the Prices, Specs of the 2021 Geely Okavango 7-Seater SUV

Mark your calendars as a new mid-sized 7-seater SUV is launching next month. Geely’s recently-named Okavango is said to be formally introduced to the market by the second week of November.

Named after Botswana’s vast inland delta—the Okavango Delta, this new offering is said to offer the best features of an SUV and MPV in a single 7-seater crossover.

So far, Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP), the official distributor of Geely in the Philippines has revealed some tidbits surrounding the Okavango including its powertrain: a standard 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with a 48-volt EMS mild-hybrid system.

However, as the official launch nears, a reliable source has given us the complete specs and even brochure of the 2021 Okavango. The brochure is somewhat low-resolution, so we’ve opted to break it down for you instead (see below).

But before getting there, it’s worth mentioning that Geely is bringing in two variants of the Okavango. The base model is called Comfort, while the higher trim level is called Urban. There are four colors and they’re all pretty much shades of gray: White, Silver, Gray, and Black.

Moreover, as with previous Geely offerings, the Okavango comes with a pre-launch discount—this time as much as P 90,000. On top of this, they’ll be throwing in a 3-year or 60,000-kilometer periodic maintenance package which includes oil, parts, and labor too (warranty remains at 5 years or 100,000 kilometers).

If you’re wondering, the pre-selling price of the 2021 Okavango is pegged at P 1,208,000 for the 1.5T Comfort, and P 1,328,000 for the 1.5T Urban.

    1. FWD, no sunroof, ordinary leather vs Nappa leather--those three alone will reduce the SRP by around P100k.

    2. Thanks Uly. Impressive pricing!

While not on the same class, I think this will be a tough competition to the established 7 (or more) seaters - rush, xpander, xl7, g50, etc.

  3. Geely Okavango real Rival is the GAC GS8. They are match and look a like in all aspects of measurements. Only in price tag that OKA shutdown the GAC half million difference.
