Kia Enhances Award-Winning Telluride SUV For 2023

Three years after bursting onto the scene as one of the most award-winning three-row SUVs, including being crowned as the 2020 World Car of the Year, the Kia Telluride comes with an array of enhancements for 2023.

For 2023, the big and bold Telluride arrives with enhanced exterior styling elements such as new headlights, bumper, and grille. This is complemented by a new lower door garnish and a revised rear fascia with new taillights.

Inside, it incorporates a curved and seamless dual 12.3-inch display screens (one for the instrumentation, and the other for the infotainment). The steering wheel and air vents have also been modified for 2023.

The Telluride continues mechanically unchanged. This means it’s powered by a 3.8-liter V6 engine with 291 horsepower and 355 Nm of torque. This is coupled to an 8-speed automatic with available all-wheel drive and self-leveling rear suspension.

The big news for 2023 is the introduction of two off-road-centric variants: the X-Line and the X-Pro. On its own, the X-Line already has a taller ride height resulting in improved approach and departure angles. It also gets unique styling elements while the electronics have been tweaked for towing. The X-Pro goes further by adding all-terrain tires and an even higher towing capacity.

So far, the Telluride remains a North America exclusive where deliveries will start in the coming months.
