The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) and Truck Manufacturers Association, Inc. (TMA) reported a combined sales of 37,231 units this June, showing an 11 percent growth from the previous month. This makes June the group’s highest selling month so far this year.
Combined with industry estimates, the total auto market moved around 42,000 new vehicles this month, reflecting a strong 18.7 percent increase from May 2026.
For the June 2026 sales ranking, Toyota Motor Philippines Corp. (TMPC) still leads among CAMPI-TMA members with 17,627 units sold. Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp. (MMPC) maintains its second position with 6,535. Rounding up the top 5 are Suzuki Philippines Inc. (SPI) with 1,532 units, Ford Group Philippines, Inc (FGP) with 1,298 units, and Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) with 1,245 units.

According to CAMPI President Jose Maria Atienza, the auto industry’s June performance brings a more optimistic second semester outlook, as vehicle sales are projected to exceed last year’s second half monthly levels. At CAMPI’s recently held Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), a number of new Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and various Electrified Vehicle (xEV) models were launched and these are expected to add momentum to the improving market demand.
“This June, we saw sales of both Internal ICE vehicles and xEVs rise. Industry sales of gas and diesel cars grew by 10 percent versus May due to more stable fuel prices, while xEVs grew by 49.2 percent thanks to improving supply level,” said Atienza.

In terms of xEV market composition, industry electrified car sales improved this month, with Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV), Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV), and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV) making up 28 percent of the total June car sales. This marks an increase of 6 points versus May.

DeleteSales are down H1 versus last year and it should also be noted that the industry missed its 2025 target. Last month’s surge indicates returning buyer confidence but it remains a challenge if sales can match or even surpass 2025.
