Caltex Caps 2023 With 37 New Service Stations, 82 Auto Workshops

Caltex, marketed by Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI), closed 2023 with the opening of several Caltex service stations and branded workshops across the country and sealing successful institutional partnerships.

Caltex continued to expand its network in the Philippines in 2023 with 37 new service stations, some of which highlighted the company’s efforts to establish new partnerships and strengthen existing ones.

In NCR, a Caltex station was opened at J.W. Diokno Boulevard, Pasay. This station marks the third retailer-owned, retailer-operated (RORO) flagship station in Aseana City. Caltex also opened four new stations in various strategic locations across Metro Manila, specifically, in Quezon City, Taguig City, and Pasig City.

In Southern Luzon, another RORO Caltex station opened within a township project located in Turbina, Calamba, Laguna. Three other Caltex stations also opened to service this fast-growing region.

In Northern Luzon, Caltex built two new service stations in Ilocos Sur. In Central Luzon, a total of three new Caltex stations also rose, two in Pampanga, and another in Bustos, Bulacan to serve motorists plying the highways of Bulacan.

In Coron, Palawan, the new Caltex station in the area serves the refueling needs of residents and tourists alike.

In Western Visayas, Caltex further broadened its network of service stations starting with four stations in Iloilo City. Caltex also opened a new site in another Landers Superstore outlet in Bacolod City.

Caltex also spread its network in Central Visayas with four new stations serving Bohol, Toledo City, and Cebu City. In Eastern Visayas, Samar and Leyte are now hosts to new Caltex stations each.

Caltex was also able to increase its presence and serve its market better in Mindanao through the opening of new retail sites in the region. A new Caltex station was opened along the busy street of National Highway Puerto in Cagayan de Oro. Three other stations were built in the Davao region.

“We understand the growing needs of our valued customers. These expansion initiatives are a testament to our dedication to deliver seamless access to high-quality fuels and a comprehensive range of services. By investing in the development of these modern facilities, we aim to contribute not only to the nation's economic growth but also to the satisfaction of the motorists we serve,” CPI Country Chairman Mr. Billy Liu shared.

Besides expanding its retail stations nationwide, Caltex broadened its network of branded auto and motorcycle workshops last year by opening 82 Caltex Havoline AutoPro, Caltex Havoline BikePro, and Caltex Delo Sport oil change workshops. These offer a complete range of high-quality oils and lubricants and reliable vehicle maintenance services provided by their well-trained mechanics.

“We strive to continually grow our branded workshop network to better serve four-wheel and two-wheel customers. These workshops will elevate the overall customer experience of our patrons and make our services accessible to more locations in the Philippines,” Liu added.

Chevron renewed its fuel supply contract with Global Business Power Corporation (GBP) in a signing ceremony last year. This recommencement enabled Chevron to continue supplying the fuel needed by GBP’s seven plant facilities located in Cebu and Iloilo.

Chevron also teamed up with Goodyear Philippines to provide Caltex StarCard users with discounts on their purchase of select Goodyear tires. This is in addition to the benefits of the card payment service accessible from any Caltex stations nationwide.
