After previewing it some weeks back, Astara-backed JMC (Jiangling Motors Corporation) has revealed the pricing of the Grand Avenue and Vigus pickup trucks at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS).
The JMC Grand Avenue is the biggest pickup truck in its class measuring in at 5,450 mm x 1,935 mm x 1,872 mm with a wheelbase of 3,270 mm. It comes powered by a Puma 2.3-liter turbocharged diesel engine with 177 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. An 8-speed ZF automatic provides smooth gearshifts and rapid response.
Packing the latest high-end tech & ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) safety features, the Grand Avenue ensures driver and passenger confidence in every drive.
At MIAS, JMC teased a limited-edition Grand Avenue Sport in 4X4 A/T. This model comes with striking fender flares and 20-inch Black Rhino Ridge matte black rims with Nitto 420S 275/55R20 tires. Exclusive features include a Roller Lid, Front Skid Plate, Rear Tow Hitch and Ball, and Floor Mats. It also sports Body Graphics that highlight its muscular design.
Meanwhile, the Vigus is JMC Philippines’s value-for-money model. Equipped with a 4D25 2.5-liter turbo diesel engine, it packs 130 horsepower and 315 Nm of torque. Its large body and long wheelbase ensure comfort and practicality making it a prime choice for business fleet solutions.
And as a pledge to lasting support, both trucks come with a 5-year or 150,000-kilometer warranty and a revolutionary Lifetime Engine Warranty.

The Grand Avenue comes in Pearl White, Sandy Brown, Cosmic Grey, Shining Silver, and Silver Sand Black. The Vigus is available in Elegant White.

This UTE is very good boxy Triton styling. Interior feels like you're in a F150 territory and the power delivery is at par with Japanese trucks. Biggest issue was the introductory Hi selling price. People will stick to japanese brand especially Reliability and value for money.
