This Guy's The First Owner Of A Jetour T2

It’s the battle of the titos at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). Not to be outshone by the announcement of Ian Veneracion as BAIC’s brand ambassador, Jetour Auto Philippines (JAPI) says the first customer of the just-launched Jetour T2 is Tito Sen.

The artista formerly known as “Tito Sotto,” Vicente C. Sotto III aka Tito Sen received his very own Jetour T2 during the first day of the show. The former Senate President of the Philippines and a comedian, he becomes the first owner of the rugged 4x4 SUV in the country.

The Jetour T2 brings all-terrain functionality thanks to its four-wheel drive system (Smart XWD Intelligent 4WD) hooked up to a turbocharged 2.0-liter with 251 horsepower and 390 Nm of torque, and a 7-speed DCT gearbox.

The intelligent cockpit system is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chipset and this controls the Jetour T2’s 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster and 15.6-inch central control screen.

It comes in two variants: the T2 Beyond (P 2,498,000) and the T2 Terrain (P 2,598,000). The T2 Terrain comes standard with additional kits and fittings for more adventurous owners.

  2. Did Tito Sotto buy it or did BAIC just give him for free? I feel it's the latter.

    1. He bought it from Jetour (Chery's sister brand)
Sotto owns lots of cars and he used to own the BMW dealership in Libis before RSA Motors bought his business.
